Hi Rene.

I tried a smudge on this and the best tutorial is by Scott deardorff.

Two options....do a search here under his name or smudge tutorial, beagle....

He did a great tut based on a beagle dog...

However, what really made sense was a very small investment in his on-line class at digital academy...

This is what realy took my eye and put me in the right direction.

I would try the latter first ....his tutorial is awesome and you get to keep the video's and tutorials....simply excellent.

I like these bright colors. It would be too saturated for a photo, I think, but a painting is idealized to begin with, so this style seems to carry the bright colors nicely.
