I have a Canon S800. Been printing photos on it and have been very happy. Below are crops of two pictures. (I am limited as to the size of a jpeg that I can upload). The first is the pricture that I am trying to print. The second is a scanned image of what was printed. I tried printing with QImage and with PSE 2.0. Both printed the same. Where is all of the brown coming from? I have done maintenance on the printer and that had no affect.

Using the dropper tool in PSP8 there's too much red and not enough green at low RGB values (high ink volumes). As for the reason, no idea really but I suppose the most likely reason is a partial clog.

I don't have a cannon printer. My older Epson printer used to do that occasionally. Even after printing several good pictures in a row. My printouts looked similar to yours. It always needed a nozzle cleaning. Then it printed fine again.

Just my guess.

I don't think so. When I do a Print Head Alignment, the cyan prints just fine. Now I am getting a white band thru the photo magenta, even after cleaning. But if the cyan was clogged, I would think that the Bluebird would be affected. But then again, if I really knew what I was talking about, I would not have posted this question.
