Are there any digicams which are able to automatically input latitude and longitude info from a gps so that photos can be labled with this info?

The only one I know of are in use by the Govt. There you can place an marker on a object and it will plug in the GPS location. Are there any digicams which are able to automatically input

Personally what I do is just use markers on my GPS.
Take a photo, set a marker and label it with the picture number.
When I get back I can then take the GPS data place it on a map. I
have only done this a few times on flights between Toronto and
Singapore. But a kinda neat to pictures out the windows and being
able to find the exact spot on a map...

I thought I read somewhere that you could hook up a gps to a D1X
and it would write the data in the exif info. There was a consumer
camera by Kodak that did the same thing. I don't know if it is
still available. What I do is I just take a close up picture of the
gps right after the picture that I want the gps info for. I'll have
to try the marker idea. Thanks.

That's what I meant when I said, the D1X has that capability.

Since you're using a digital camera, a cheap way would be taking a picture of the GPS screen right after your shot. Then you could rename the photo files using a system which would show you which pairs of shots belong together. Are there any digicams which are able to automatically input
