Is the gimp capable of resizing an image with results similar to CS2 resize... I have tried all settings cubic, sinc, linear and although cubic is the cleanest(least jaggies) its still not a patch on CS/CS2/CS3 for resizing....

So I have read but in real use I find lanc3 adds a real 'over-sharpened' effect especially foliage and introduced bad jaggies on anything straight/straight lines.. cubic for me gives better results as a small amount of after sharpening gives finer results that the nasty lanc3 effect...
