And it's amazing how much I can't do in my head anymore.

And then I think of kids and how they use aim and text messaging and such and I realize how much they don't do anymore either -

Actually what is scary about me today is my voice. I came down with an apparent virus yesterday that has crippled my vocal chords. People laugh at me every time I try to speak and I'm wondering how I can incorporate my condition into a Halloween costume?

You should be the one with no voice after celebrating your big win yesterday over in CSLR, congratulations again- go out and eat lots of candy ;-)

That would be a good one Penny :-) Or I was thinking with my faltering voice box I could be a presidential candidate in the last days before the election. Yeah, I could be John McCain and just mutter "my friends" over and over in a cracking voice ;-)

Apparently when translated into Engish it has a lot more meaning. He's singing about the great meat pie wiv mushy peas on top & describing how he eats different parts of it until the sad ending when it's all gone. He's a real connoisseur, you can tell by the feeling he puts into it.

the challenge is grinding down, but I'm happy to say it hasn't come to a halt.. the photos are sill coming.

Keep up the good work. Keep lugging that camera around and get those entries posted!! And thanks, everyone, for all your wonderful contributions.

Oh! I thought this was closed. Here's a shot I took earlier this year when traveling through Syria. I caught this coming into Damascus by taxi from Palmyra. It's pretty much a monotone, so I thought it would suit this challenge. Hope you like it.
