I'm interested in u4/3 and my first priority is a wide angle lens for landscapes. Two choices: The expensive but pro-level Panasonic 7-14, or....the (hopefully) soon to be released Olympus MZ 9-18. Is the difference between these 2 lenses worth the cost difference? I would love to see a review of BOTH lenses, but understand that DPReview tends to only review lenses which are moderately affordable (i.e. up to maybe $600 - $700). But I believe the Oly MZ 9-18 just qualifies.

ANYONE ELSE WANT TO SEE A REVIEW OF THE OLY MZ 9-18?

If so, speak up. Maybe, just maybe, someone from DPReview will take note.

Yes! I'm really on the fence about this lens and a reliable review would be very helpful.

... I am waiting for a Sigma 8-16mm preview/review too: I still shoot on Nikon/Fujifilm sometimes, and this lens might be suitable for both systems (Nikon F - micro 4/3).

Ciao!
