lense adapter

I have good news. The lens adapters are in inventory here in
Rochester as of yesterday. So they should be showing up on Rite2U
next week. I know that it's not soon enough, but I am anxiously
awaiting mine just as everyone here is.

As a Kodak employee, do you know if there will be a macro lens available in the future for the 6490?

Hi Dee,
Your comment above has caught my attention. May I ask, what step
down rings have you purchased for the 6490? I am keen to get
44-37mm if they exist.

The ring I bought was to step down a 55mm to 43mm.. There are many
options, but that will allow to attach lenses I have already
purchased that I used with my DX4330. There are lots of combos...
I got this one in anticipation of the adaptor from Kodak.

I'll keep searching. I have two 37mm macro lens that I purchased
for my DX3900. They work extremely well with the 6490, just need an
appropriate stepdown ring so I don't have to tape them on as I have
been.

--Rob, check out the photosolve . com site. That is where i ordered mine from. I have ordered other items from them also.. Never had a problem.

The slide conversion lens they have works great if have any old slides that you want to digitize.
