Welcome to the Weekly Image Thread!

This thread will appear every Saturday (GMT). If the thread is nearing full before the next Saturday, I may start a new thread and carry on until it fills or the next Saturday arrives and it is reasonably full in which case I will start another. Confused, so am I! From time to time the start could be delayed if I am unavailable.

Although this Weekly thread is in the Olympus SLR forum, we openly welcome users of all brands and models.

Please:

  1. Reply to this post and change the TITLE!
  2. Please reply to at least one other contribution, your replies encourage posters!!!
  3. If asked, please share your processing techniques or technical details.
  4. Please show the EXIF if possible. Please identify the lens used regardless of which camera was used to take the image. This helps people form opinions of the lens used with the body to possibly influence future acquisitions.
  5. If special lighting was used to create your image stating what was done may help others.
Thanks for joining and contributing this week.

Love the Bear, assume he is wander around in the wild and not in a zoo, the zoos are great for the kids but i think the animals suffers for being there....enough of the rant.......the birds are great, also the sunset worth a frame in the wall

Hi

Thanks for your coments , Im in the process to replace all the cardamom plants that died couse the drought we had.....thats a lot, about 16000 plants, in the "nursery"we have about half of that ready to plant....so it is a lot of work, also we are working in put some irrigation pipes in order to irrigate ther plants....but the problem in the farm is to pump the water from the bottom of the creeks to the top of the hills in order to do it by gravity, so we can cover more area........

Thanks for the information. I hope the new plants are successful. I take it that the first planting was not irrigated?

The bear is in the wild. He was tagged by the Department of Wildlife so they can monitor him, particularly if he gets in trouble with law enforcement.
