Lightroom Classic 13.0.1 Develop Sync not always working
1

I updated to the latest version of LR Classic. After doing so, I tried to sync a bunch of photos to an originally edited photo. Primarily I was trying to sync the new point color settings. It didn't always seem to work.

This is the originally edited photo. Notice the deep greens and the point color settings.

I synced the next photo in the film strip and although it appears to have changed the point color settings, the image doesn't have the same colors, as you can see.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding this, but it seems to me they should match. And, this didn't always happen, sometimes it works.
I have tried to sync with all boxes checked and it still didn't work. When I try to sync just white balance or exposure, for example, the second photo (synced photo) just reverts to the 'as shot' color balance and the exposure slider isn't changed. Very weird.
Update: It appears that it's the white balance not updating. Maybe I'm just forgetting functionality. If the white balance in the first photo is set to 2800, As Shot, and I sync it to the second photo, shouldn't it also be changed to 2800?  I thought that's what used to happen, but not it just stays 'As shot' and retains the color setting of the 2nd photo.
Is that how it always worked?  (if so, sorry for this post)

I just selected a random group of 7 photos, all had "as shot wb", auto sync on, and changed the 1st white balance.

3 HEICs and one tiff then had the same white balance

3 .dngs did not get changed.

This deserves some more attention.

Re: Lightroom Classic 13.0.1 Develop Sync not always working

I found a warning to update to LRC 13.0.1. It seems to crash on some computers: https://wetpixel.com/forums/index.php?/topic/71510-adobe-lightroom-classic-upgrade-to-13/

On my PC (MacPro M1 notebook) 13.0 works without problems...

=> I will wait to upgrade from 13.0 to 13.0.1 until the issue is resolved (maybe 13.0.2 will get released)...

OK. I decided to try Rick Flohr's producer for my iMac 2019 Intel and worked. My iMac is now running 13.1.0.

The sync worked when I did some adjustments in the Basic Window. I only tried it once bit it worked. The Point Color also synced.

Did you check these boxes?

Please try to only sync the white balance, and sync it on multiple file types, including .dng
