Two that I’ve found. One is a creation of a member here. They’re calling it DPRevived. The other is just for R users.

rfshooters.com

The creator of our R-System monthly challenges has started to migrate that way. Been around for a little while. Not super active.

cameradiscussion.createmybb4.com

Created by a DPReview member for DPReview members. This is the one being called DPRevived.

Thanks. DPRevived.com is not up yet. Maybe in the future.

I will give rfshooters.com a try. Thanks again.

Photography on the net.

I will probably spend most of my time on Photography-on-the.net. Good Canon community. I do wish they would expand to have a dedicated R camera forum.

I looked in over at rfshooters.com
and,
at DPRevived.com
and,

... the RFshooters site definitely has a better user interface, in my opinion. Perhaps they need to add a sub-forum there to include Canon DSLR users, too.

Once dpreview is gone, looks like there'll be "a shaking out" of contenders trying to fill the void left here.

With the RF shooters forum, one definitely has to keep in perspective how busy just this one sub forum is here at DPReview. Not a ton of activity with only R-Shooters. And considering the amount of activity this sub gets from people that don’t use R mount coming to complain about Canon, well - not much of that over there.

No general buying advice or beginners forums either. So it’s a bit slower paced overall, which probably isn’t a bad thing.

https://rfshooters.com feels very new an if it gets more action will expand in a number of areas. It is a modern interface and I like that.

Fred Miranda, Photogrphy on the net, RF shooters... There is where to go.

Non of them does get even clise to DPR in terms of site quality, traffic and community. But time will show if some of these will organicaly take over the DPR"s forum popularity.

Looks like DPRevived has the momentum.
This is a non profit initiative created by long time DPR forum members which main goal is to keep the DPR community together.

The forum was installed just yesterday, but you can go to register your name before anyone else take it.

It is hard to predict where people will land. I'm going to start posting on dprevived.com for now, but it that site does not take off, will look at other options.

Some users in the Nature and Wildlife section I frequent the most already have accounts are Fred Miranda and Photography-On-The-Net, so I will watch those forums as well.

Update - For anyone interested, we are delighted to be able to confirm that there will be a dedicated 'Your R System Images' forum which will commence on 1st April on RF Shooters.

We hope to see some of you and your wonderful R System images there.
