High Hopes.
6

As a relief from boredom, I decided to grow venus fly traps from seed, I watched and waited until one of the ten seeds germinated, or is it a weed? this morning I photographed the tiny plant, not expecting anyone to ID it, LOL. Shot with raynox 250, 14 42 Panny kit lens, lit with flash.

The white blobs are Perlite.

It is in the corner of the container making it difficult to get a different view.

Re: High Hopes.

Looking at images online (after searching for "venus flytrap seedling") shows all of them growing very close to the ground at the earliest stages. No stem. So looks like it might be a weed after all. Hard luck. You could always call it a "native plant". Doesn't sound quite so bad.
