Hoya Starscape Filter recommended?

I saw an ad for a Hoya Starscape Filter that showed clearer photos of the stars.  Anyone have any comments on how impactful a filter is?  I am using a Nikon Z6 and have a Zeiss 1.4/50mm lens and a 4/14-30 mm Z lens.  From what I have read, the 1.4/50mm would perform better.  I will be taking pictures in some dark skies locations and also at home where, while not supper light, is not close to dark skies.

I would photographing stars and galaxies that are not very faint.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Such enhancer/redhancer/neodymium/starscape/ .... filter are popular for beginners. They are not recommended as it is better to remove lp in the post-processing.

It's a different thing with (narrow band) interference filter.

We have had that topic already several times in this forum (with more details).

I don't know the 'astro-quality' of the Zeiss 1,4/50 (vignette and coma), but the total opening of 50mm / 1.4 = 35.7 mm allows for a good light gathering capacity.

Thanks!  I'll pass on the filter.
