X-Pro2 half press feel very light

Question for the room. I already own an X-Pro1 and X100V and I just picked up a used X-Pro2. The XP2 half shutter feels substantially lighter than the XP1 and X100V.  It’s so light I can barely find it and I’m constantly pushing past it and taking a shot when I don’t mean to. Are XP2s like this from the factory or is my copy super worn out?  I don’t have a shutter count on it right now but I’ll check tonight.

Light and heavy are very subjective terms.

I have measured my xp2 to have a trigger weight of 0.150kg at the point where you lock

the exposure and focus.

I mean in comparison to my other contemporary Fujis its very light.  Seems odd and out of spec.

Re: X-Pro2 half press feel very light

It may have a problem - I had this previously on an XP2, where it suddenly lost any definition around that first stage of the shutter action.  Fortunately for me this was six months in and Fuji replaced the whole top plate under guarantee, after which I had no problem for 18 months (until I sold it).

I’ve read that it’s something to do with the weather sealing moving out of place but that might just be guesswork.

In it’s normal state I’d say the button feel is pretty similar to the X-Pro1.

Thanks. I can’t imagine they would deliberately change it for a single generation. I have the XP1 and tried the XP3 in store and they feel similar so I would expect the XP2 to be similar.
