I'm not a huge fan of the 50mm full frame equivalent focal length. Never have been, although I own dozens of them in my collection, but it doesn't really suit the way I see or shoot. For personal stuff, anyway - I use the EF f1.2 L lens a lot for paid work, and that suits my generally middle-aged portrait clientele very nicely. Better than the RF version would...
I own both these lenses, despite that - the 32 is probably my least-used EF-M fit lens for the above reason. In terms of IQ, it's almost certainly the best. For RF, I wanted something cheap and cheerful in native fit, and the f1.8 does the job perfectly well.
If the angle of view is of critical importance to you, the 32mm is significantly better. For occasional use, I don't think that matters that much, and if you're intending on using the lens stopped down, even less.
