R6 Mk2, sports setup.

Just got the R6 MK2, early days yet but a bit unsure of the focus setting for sport, cycling, triathlon etc, I have the MK 1, but there seems to be quite a few differences in the eye detect, Ai Server etc. Had a look online, not found any great help, some contrasting view though. Just set it up for triple back button focus, anyone got any great sites to visit,or personal settings they could share, grateful for any advice.

Thanks

I have the R6MKII as well but I haven't used it for sports yet. Unfortunately indoor volleyball season is over and outdoor tennis have yet to begin. However, looking at the manual, I intend to use Case 2 for tennis (as suggested in the manual) and Case 3 for the more challenging indoor volleyball. Eye-AF turned on all the time.

Hope someone who have used it in sports can chime in.

And there are also 3 Sports Photography discussion groups I highly recommend - just put in "Sports Photography" in FB search

Thanks, I'll have a look at those, just looked at 2 others and they're completely different.

This guy seems to have updated his settings, seems quite complicated, to me, at least. Never had any problems with the R6.

Re: R6 Mk2, sports setup.

Had a look through, and they are sports photography in general, I'm really looking for specific set up advice for sport photography on the R6 Mk2. As I said, I have the R6 and I'm fine with the set up on that, it's just that the MK has several differences. And after reading a couple, I'm more confused as they both seem quite different.

Thanks
