A comparison that is surely a little strange for the majority of you.
Between the Minolta RD-175 (1995) and the Lumix GF2 (2011) two cameras with a multiplication factor of X2.0

yes, it is a strange comparison you made there.

it did motivate me to go find the wikipedia article on the Minolta.   Back in the day, I used a lot of high quality video cameras that used the three chip configuration and it was great for the time.  Funny how stills are a whole different world.

Well , they sort of used the RD-175 to do a video, stop motion video at any rate .

I have a couple of working RD-175's , but the RD-3000 is far superior, much better image quality and colours/contrast .
