Day 2 with my X-E1... Discoveries..the Sigma 70-300mm really struggles for contrast in back-lit situations. Below examples have quite a bit of de-hazing in post.

The Sigma 28mm f/1.8 looks great (even if I didn't quite nail the focus)...liking it for indoor shots and subject isolation.

And the 16mm is so much easier 😁😁

The X-E1 is another one of those older cameras that's capable of great image quality.

It, along with the X-Pro1 and possibly the original X100, were the cameras that brought Fuji to the forefront of digital photography.

The X-E1 and X-Pro1 were the first cameras that produced JPEGs so good that DPR said raw may not be needed with these cameras.

Anyway, I like the pictures you posted and, in many ways, wish I would have kept the X-E1 camera I used to own.

It was the camera that convinced me to “switch” to mirrorless.
