R6II AND LOW LIGHT EVENTS - FEEDBACK?

Anyone here have feedback on low light/  niteclub work and the focusing of the R6ii? I'm doubtful if eye AF would work, but we'll see.

My own observation is that lowlight focusing of the R6Mii is just as good as the R6. Largely depending on the lenses you use, of course. Brighter lenses (1.8-2.8) no problem, yes even in lowlight. It's a different story when you're using 4.0-5.6 lenses, as I personally experienced when using my RF15-30mm.

Start by turning “Display Simulation” (for Exposure) OFF in dark environments. AF improves!  Also don’t underexpose, and improve the brightness by turning ISO up (and processing RAWs in DxO Photolab 6).

Best of luck!

Here is one from Friday night

F2.8 s/s 1/200 iso 25600 raw into C1, default C1 settings then export to jpeg without editing. Eye and people detect, center point to pick up subject and then track to frame

If you are having problems, let us see some problem images and the parameters used.
