Why is tone-curve greyed out in in-camera raw conversion menu?

Hi,
Probably something simple, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
If I choose an image in the playback menu and go to raw conversion, the tone-curve setting is greyed out and not selectable. This is an X-E4 and the image is definitely raw, not jpeg
Anyone able to shed any light please?

Was the image shot with an X-E4?

As an example X-RAW will not process an image shot with an X-E3 with and X-E4 connected to the computer.  You'll still see the image in X-RAW, but you won't be able to edit it.

This is the in-camera raw conversion, but you may be onto something. This card was used in an X-E3 previously, I wonder if I need to format it in the X-E4 maybe? Worth a try anyway.

Ah sorry, somehow thought you were using X-RAW.  But post back again if the formatting fixes the issue.

You have a conflicting setting - likely D Range Priority set to something other than off

This was the problem. Thanks!

Either way, you should format the card in-camera every time after you have saved something on the card from another device (camera, computer, etc.).
