Fuji Photowalk - my experience

In the UK, Fuji offer something called a 'Photowalk' where Fuji experts will walk you around a town and offer insights and help into various types of photography. They also bring a selection of lenses for you to try/
Last night, I went on one of these in Liverpool. It was very good and I learned a lot.
I borrowed a 23mm F1.4 lens to start with.
We started off (in the rain and sleet) with Carol (one of the Fuji experts) suggesting how to do a very narrow depth of field. I'd never owned a lens of less than F4, so a 1.4 was a revelation.
Happy with this one
Should have been closer to the first barrel, I think.
This was a wall with the name of every group that's played at the Cavern Club .
Then, some work on black and white which turns a boring side street into an interesting view (IMO)
I don't know why this works, but it does (for me).
Then we moved to a road and tried out slow shots to get the red car lights. I changed lens back to my 16-80. I wasn't so interested in this bit as these sorts of pictures have done nothing for me in the past. But it's something I may progress on to see if I can get them better.

After a welcome coffee stop (it was around 0c outside), we carried on. Light painting was the last main topic - and this was really fun to do.
She's there somewhere
And we loved it all too.
I've still got loads to learn - but I really enjoyed it all. There's loads of other pictures - some good, many not so good!
I hope you like these - they are not perfect, but they are better than what I could have done before yesterday. Thanks to Carol, Linda and Chanice for what they provided.
