Nitecore FX1 Dual-Slot USB Travel Charger any good?

I'm looking for a good international battery charger for the FUJIFILM NP-W126(S) batteries.

It appears the Nitecore FX1 may be the solution. I like how it can charge two batteries at once.  Hopefully someone on this forum owns one and can give some advice.

It is a perfectly decent charger.  Note that it does not come with a power adapter....you will need one that connects to a USB A cable.

I've been using that charger for a couple of years. Works great for me....

The Nitecore chargers are great products. I purchased an FX1 for my XT2/XT3 batteries and now have added the FX3 dual charger for my X-H2S. Both are small & compact and will charge two batteries and are great for using with my Anker PD26800 Power Bank.

Highly recommended.

As others have said, it doesn't come with a wall adapter; however, since you're looking for a travel charger, it works great since you can use different adapters for different countries. I use an international multi-adapter and the Nitecore as my travel setup. I've found it to be a great solution.

Re: Nitecore FX1 Dual-Slot USB Travel Charger any good?

I got the Nitecore FX1 back in 2021 when the genuine Fujifilm chargers were out of stock everywhere. It was a good decision, the charger has been working very well since then. It is very compact and pretty light, just a bit larger than the actual battery. It charges two of them without any issues.

As others have said though, you need to provide your own USB (Type A) power adapter, as none is included within the box. Another important information: While the cable is very sturdy and convenient it is short, extremely short. If you don't want it to be dangling from the wall plug. you might want to think about some sort of extension cord. In addition the cable is hardwired into the FX1, so you can't simply exchange the cable for a different one.

If you plan on charging from USB power banks on the road, don't go for the FX1, it hogs 300-350mA of the precious juice itself, that is around 1/3 of a Fuji battery. The latest Wasabi Power flat charger is better in terms of power efficiency, seeping only 19mA itself (since it doesn't need to feed a bright LCD screen).

I was shooting the whole day at a dance fest on Sunday, my 10,000mAh Samsung bank was able to charge 3 Fuji/Wasabi batteries and still have one bar (out of 5) left.
