The best laid plans, part 2

The light wasn't quite as good this morning, but the Corp of Engineers and water levels cooperated. Here are a couple of captures sooc.

Ah, well done!  And the shot was still there!  I suppose sooner or later, the tides will take her back out.

No tides on this lake. It is a man made impoundment just outside of Nashville. When the army corp of engineers raises the water level my guess is that they will pull it out then. Until then, I will keep going back looking for better light and working on my composition.

Beautiful pictures!

All three are very nice but I particularly like the 3rd because of the nice foreground element, it gives the photo a sense of depth. The reflection of the mast in the water also leads the eye towards the main subject.

Just my 2 cents CAD.
