RF Lens to Fuji XF- Possible?

Im fully aware that the flange difference wouldnt really allow an adapter for what I want, but I was hoping there might be an option with an adapter with a lens inside, so it would be possible. I have an 800mm RF lens I'd like to use on a Fuji XH-2 camera, and was wondering an adapter MIGHT work? I know its wishful thinking, but they have adapters for a ton of stuff these days.

Pretty sure this has been ruled out in other threads - while theoretically possible, it's likely an issue of the RF mount being a fair bit wider in diameter than X mount - this would no doubt cause ergonomic issues with getting your hand between the grip and lens on some models, and potentially issues with access to the lens release button.

As a general rule it seems to me that if an adaptor is possible you'll find one on the internet fairly easily and if not then not.

In addition to the problems already mentioned, both the diaphragm and focusing are controlled electronically. Unless an adapter incorporated electronics to translate the protocols between Canon and Fujifilm standards, you couldn't stop down or focus (even manually). With an f/11 lens the former probably isn't too serious, but the latter is a deal breaker.

If you are looking to use the Canon 800mm f11 lens on a Fuji body you will find that the small maximum aperture will impact AF and particularly tracking.  Adapting one of the better Canon EF mount or Nikon F mount primes with a f5.6 or faster aperture.  Adding a TC will get you a faster and reasonable light weight package.  For example, I use the Nikon 500mm f5.6 PF and I use it with a 1.7x TC with effective maximum aperture of f9 and 850mm focal length.  It's a super combination.  Another nice combination would be the Canon 400mm f5.6 L with a 2x TC.  There are quite a few more.
