And my world is at peace again......

Probably not but it's a little closer.

I sold my Sigma 24-105, toooooo heavy, and found an 18-135 USM.  I had the original version of this a few years ago.  I liked the focal length/weight/size.

Obligatory Pics

The New lens with the rest of the family. Shot with the black sheep of the family the 18-55.

I was gifted an 18-135 and it's my everyday lens.

Re: And my world is at peace again......

Congratulations!  I bought my Canon 18-135mm USM lens a few years ago on Ebay.  It stays on one of my cameras.  Recently I accidentally had my camera bag upside down and the camera and lens fell about two feet.  They both survived, but I had to replace a cracked lens hood.  Fortunately, that cost me less than $10 (USD).  If I had broken either the camera or lens, I would have gotten another one.  That lens is quite versatile and useful, particularly at people events.

Yep.  My XS is my first SLR.  Best I can remember it's from 2007 or 2008.

I find the EF-S 18-135 to be a great all around lens on a crop camera.  I had the STM version and now the USM version.  Always been very happy with the images from these 18-135 lenses
