X100v not showing any info in viewfinder

I have an x100v I bought a few months ago and have been using. Today I ran into a strange problem that I hope someone can help me with.

Normally, when the viewfinder is in WYSWIG mode (let's you see exactly how the camera sees the image at the selected aperture and shutter speed) it displays a horizontal axis of some info belowyhe image (I forget what exactly now) and vertical info to the right of the image and displays a histogram at the bottom right of the image. Today, that info is no longer being displayed. Just the focus point and a small green circle focus indicator at the bottom left of the image.

I went through all of the settings I could find but didn't find anything that seemed to be related to this. I assume I changed some setting somewhere and screwed this up because it used to work fine.

The camera still takes pictures but the lack of info in the viewfinder is a problem for me.

Can anyone tell me what I've done to cause this problem and how to fix it?

Have you tried, eye to viewfinder then press the DISP button?

Thank you! That did it!!

I like the camera a lot and love the dials, but it has even more settings than my DSLR. It will take me (quite?) awhile for all the settings to become second nature.

Re: X100v not showing any info in viewfinder

My advice: If you've got some spare time on an afternoon or evening, grab a coffee or tea, your X100V as well as the printed manual which came with the box. I've been shooting Olympus for over five years before buying the X100V as my first Fujifilm and needed to relearn a lot of things. I actually found the manual well written and pretty helpful, it made me understand most of the things I was looking for and for the rest I did some research online.

Here are some videos you should watch. Also, FujiGuys channel should have some hands on videos as well.

Hahaha! ... this happened to me as well a while ago.
It threw me for a loop until someone here helped me with the same "problem".

I also came from a DSLR and there's definitively a learning curve, keep at it and it will become second nature after a while.
