Does it have Acros?

If you want Acros, (and about 40 other film simulations), use DxO and then you can buy any camera you want.

I´m a RAW user and I agree somewhat. However, many people buy Fuji to use jpegs.

Fair point.

Though as a new-to-Fuji-for-second-time user, I'm still trying to get a JPEG to match what I can do in RAW with minimal adjustments - but that is the subject for a different thread...

I always really liked the SOOC jpegs from my XE3 and X100V, but I always found myself still tweaking them just a little in the photos app on my iPhone before posting them. Even then, I was always still just a little happier out of what I got from the RAW files plus minor tweaks in Lightroom Mobile.

Interestingly, because I was mostly using my iPhone to edit my Fujifilm files, I noticed zero time savings from shooting JPEG and loading the files to the photos app vs shooting in RAW and loading the photos to Lightroom Mobile and applying a preset.

Probably though, this is all just a personal preference at the end of the day.

Yep, that's me. I know the raw workflow well enough and understand the benefits. But for me, the disadvantages far outweigh them. I used to work on slides from time to time in my film days and work like that now. One chance, one button press, that's it. Aside from the fact that I don't have free time I could spend in post, I also like the direct and in-touch nature of this workflow.

Indeed, my go to camera store in Berlin is a reputable Fujifilm dealer but some cameras, especially X100V and X-E4 are only available for pre-prder with a big red notice saying they can't give any sort of estimate as when they are able to fulfill the order, could be two weeks, could be four months. Not great, but at least one would be in the waiting line and will get the camera sooner or later.

The most efficient way is to order from more than one shop and cancel the others when you get the first confirmation. You’ll need a card which can accommodate this, but that’s the reality.

Looks like all the retailers are out, used sellers are price gouging and used websites don't have any stock - what other places haven't I tried?

Fuji is too busy making their XT and XH cameras that they forgot lots of people want an X-E4, an X-Pro, or an X100V.

Maybe the X-E5 will be available before stores restock the X-E4. Who knows? In the meantime scalpers are very happy, a friend bought a new silver body with the 27mm mark ii on Amazon (from a 3rd party seller) for $1500.

Place an order at a store (or several) and wait… and where are you located?

I'm in the US - California. I put a stock alert on BH and Adorama months ago with no luck.

Well on a lot volume supply item, you may never get a stock alert from B&H. While I have registered many stock alerts with B&H, I have never received one. I got frustrated waiting for the 27/2.8. The status said 2-4 weeks estimated. I put one on order and was shocked to receive shipped status in 3 days later. If you want one, put it on order. As an aside, I got an email from B&H two weeks later that the 28/2.8 was still not in stock but will notify me when it does become available,

Now BH is not accepting orders for the X-E4, X-Pro3 or X100V:

"Due to market shortages/supply constraints, we are no longer accepting online orders for this item."

Maybe they should add: "Please refer to your scalper of preference to pay 2X retail price for this cameras."

Hey now…. I only sold my x100v for 30% more than MSRP… after two years of use and 20k clicks.
