Re: Cactus

I can see the needles.  Are those tiny leaves too on the cactus branch?

Quite cool....  That's an interesting car.  I like how you captured it between the buildings as seen in the background.

Re: Japanese Garden

That's beautiful.  I love the green colors.  It reminds me of warmer summer days.

Those are excellent.  I see that you used these cameras recently in 2021 and 2022.

The big black part of the left is a cactus branch. The round little things are leaves.

I would not create a “usual, up-front” image of the whole cactus as it did not look very appealing due to lack of care. I decided to created a high-contrast image of a portion of it against the blue sky.

Thanks for your kind feedback.

I was lucky. I was initially standing at that spot, looking at the walkway leading up to the mountain, when this interesting car arrived on the farther lane. The car stopped right there because of the red traffic light. So I had plenty of time to adjust my settings and captured multiple shots.

Thanks. That image was created last August in a (huge) botanical garden.

Thanks.  It was fun taking them.

Re: Couple

Are those two male mallard ducks? Did you take them as B&W or is it just the lighting and clouds that made them that way.

Re: Spring is just around the corner.

Hi Digirame, Thank You.

I'm still waiting to find a Wood Duck, they rarely fly the Atlantic but I know there are some places where they reside in the UK, perhaps one day I'll find one.

This week coming I will hopefully be seeing the Grebes in their spring feathers although further south than where I live.

Hi MyReality, Thank You.

The Tamron 150-600mm. Is a fun lens to work with if you can stand the weight.

Re: Spring is just around the corner.

Hi Dunlin, Thank You.

There's lots of bird activity at the moment around the country park, especially flyby's.
