Flash compatibility with R7

No answers in Accessories Forum so thought I,d try here.
I purchased these two flashes about 4 years ago for my Nikon D500. Are they compatible and safe to use on my Canon R7. Or are there still voltage and hotshoe pin differences like there used to be with older cameras/flashes which could damage the R7? Just wondered if these were more universal these days?

Meike MK 300 and Yongnuo Speedlite YN685

The Youngnuo is a Nikon-only. I can't tell about the Meike, but if it is a Nikon-specific flash, don't put it on a Canon camera.

I think you can still use the YN using an off camera trigger. Bit of an expensive option considering you can get a used Canon version for £50

Yes, I don't do a lot of flash stuff and was just wondering really. Plus I've got an RX10 m4 which has built in flash. I do have a Yonguo radio off camera trigger flash transceiver but I imagine that's Nikon specific as well.
