A few snow crystals from this morning.
13

It was -10C here this morning with a little snow drifting down so I was able to shoot a few snow crystals.

Mostly the crystals were less than perfect but they still have their own unique beauty.

Here we have what appears to be two stuck together

I also tried doing some focus stacking. Here's a stack of eight images taken with my 20X objective.

The inner structure looked interesting so I swapped over to my 40X objective for a closer look. Here's the result, after cropping a little. The FOV is approx. 500 microns.

Hope you like them.
