You can't really do anything about it for moving subjects under strobing lights, with any shutter mode, because those subjects are really strobing. Where would the extra light come from between the ghosts, to fill them in? That light never existed. You have to be careful with light bulbs that look solid, but are deeply cycled, like ones on dimmers.No I am sure it was Elec. 1st-curtain. It might be the led thing since there are tons of Led Edison bulbs in this place.
But should I then go fully mechanical to avoid this flickering?
But I did think the Anti-Flicker shoot enabled should deal with this kind of thing.
I discovered one bulb in my bathroom in a fixture of two bulbs was actually pitch black half of each cycle, 120x per second. Some of the lights in that room in your photos are deep cycling. It would be best to use a faster shutter speed and engage the camera's anti-flicker with lights like that.
