I'd say one of the best implementations of touch LCD is delivered by PANASONIC...

I think Panasonic may be the only major brand I haven’t owned. I briefly had interest in the LX10/100 compacts a few years ago, but never considered anything else from them. Good to know.

Thank you everyone for your considerable assistance / expertise and recommendations. I started my search looking at a variety of brands (Fuji was always in the running) and posted in a number of forums.

I have pulled the trigger and purchased a used X-T3 with 16-80mm lens. Lots of learning ahead!

It's been quite a circuitous journey - and now the next leg begins!

Thank you all again.

Thanks! I don't think I could have arrived at my decision without so much assistance from the group.

Most panasonic Bodies, since years, have a very usable touch LCD implementation, that's auite likeable.

I think you made a good choice with that. The X-T3 is a very capable camera with lots of options and features to discover and learn in the years to come.

Camera researching and shopping is not my favourite activity - and I appreciate all the input I have received from this forum.

I'm really looking forward moving on - start learning and taking shots.
