ice crystals on soup
5

I was about to heat up some soup from the freezer when I spotted a bloom of ice crystals, and that seemed worth a quick snap

there were several interesting shapes so I'll try some stacks when I get another batch (I was too hungry to spend any time today)

Split pea?

We make a lot of soup and a lot of it gets frozen.

I'd never considered it as a macro subject...

Never mind the soup, the ice looks terrific nearly good enough to eat, well spotted.
