The spider had not settled on a spot to wait on and kept moving.

I sat and waited a long time for it to get at an angle so I could see it's eyes.

Still not what I was after.  I couldn't get any lower.

At last it found a spot that was good for me.

I used a NISI 58mm lens on the front of my Sony FE 90 mm macro lens.

I don't worry about getting the most magnification I can.  Better than 1:1 is plenty for me.

nice, I like the 3rd the best as it shows the face (like a hammerhead shark), not visible in the first two. I've never seen that in a spider before

spiders do like presenting their worse side possible when being photographed, patience (or nudging) seems to have worked
