Not enough light

I got a Laowa 25mm with the ring light but realized I do not have enough light. Are there any flashes that are powerful enough to also support the lens at 5x magnification as well as 2.5x magnification without overexposing or underexposing?

Re: Not enough light

What are you shooting?

In the studio or outside?

Re: Not enough light

there is an interesting article touching on the challenges of using these high mag lenses in Photography Life. A suggestion or two there about lighting:

Not something I have experience with myself.

The article assumes you're mostly shooting bugs (although one example image is of a steel rule laid flat - for the life of me I'm not sure why that was used as a focus stack image).

If that lens has manual stop-down, you have to manipulate everything yourself.

If you haven't mastered using a manual speedlight at 1:1, you have nothing to relate to.
