Why Does X-E4 LCD Touch Screen Mode Reset to Off When Camera is Turned Off/On?

I noticed on my X-E4 that if I enable the LCD Touch Screen Mode and set the mode to Shot, AF, or Area, that the mode resets to Off every time I turn the camera off and then on again. I also tested this using an X100V, X-T3, X-H2S, and GFX 50s II and none of those cameras reset the LCD Touch Screen Mode to Off after power cycling; they maintain the mode that was selected before turning the camera off/on.

Does anyone know if this is this an X-E4 bug, configuration setting, or operating as designed?

ANSWER:
Fujifilm X-T3

Not sure how you have your X-E4 configured, but mine doesn't "reset" to off.

Thank you for letting me know. I might need to do a factory reset to see if it changes.

Do you have the latest firmware version v1.12 installed?

Yes, it is the latest firmware. I did a reset and now the camera is operating as it should. I am going to make some configuration changes, a few at a time, to see if I can figure out what setting was causing the problem.

Thank you for your help!
