Canon SX 70 filter installation

I just picked up a copy of this camera.  I am trying to see how to make a smaller camera work on my Int'l trips. I just realized that you can't directly put a filter onto the lens treads.  I seem to remember someone postiing about a method of some adapter that would allow you to do that.  I am interested in hearing from you more experienced people with this camera how to do this.  Also is there any place that has set up configurations for this camera?  Are there any books or sites that discuss different approaches with this camera.  also how different is this from the other SX cameras in terms of set up.  Thanks a Lot Jim

You may want to consider getting the JJC Reversible Lens Hood Shade Protector & 67mm Filter Adapter Ring from Amazon, and getting 67mm hood.

See my previous post HERE .

The "Filter Adapter" will allow the use of Filter only; i.e., not both Filter and Hood.
