Which would be a good old low-cost body?

I sold my X-T3 last year and kept my 4 primes waiting for the best next thing which in my case would be an X-E with the 40mp sensor or maybe an X100 with interchangeable lenses 🥹 -that might never happen.

I don't want to keep my lenses eating dust, so I wonder what would be a good cheap body to keep enjoying my glass and get good images?

No interest on video at all. Could be one of those evf-less small bodies, I dont know...

Thanks!

Buy back the X-T3 and stop waiting for the "next best thing"

For me it would have to be an X-T20. Maybe even the X-T10.

"The best next thing" was hyperbole. I have other cameras to play but I want something low-cost just to put those lenses to use.

Something from the XA series, no evf and cheap second hand, maybe an XE-1 or 2, cheap as well.

X-T3 was going to be my answer but then read that you sold it.

Perhaps buy another one and then see where things go with Fuji bodies.

Depending on what features are desired, another vote for X-E1. I have X-T3 since it came out, being my main body and taking around 25k photos so far - but some time ago got X-E1 as well (being totally aware of all of its aged tech) for times I almost don`t want to think about the camera at all.

Don`t think it can get much cheaper than that. Of course, depending on the form you prefer, X-T10 or X-T20 (or X-E2 mentioned above, or X-E2s) could be an option, too. Just make sure to list the features you can`t live without, if any, not to forget these are older (and more modestly featured) cameras after all (but image quality hardly lacking, being what counts, too).

X-E3. Small, perfect control layout, great IQ.

X-T20. Great camera, good AF, d-pad, tilt screen, best high ISO performance in Fujiland.

Another vote for XE-1 here also. Unless you really need that classic chrome, in which case I would say X-E2.

Yes, but its current price is kind of high these days. So the X-Pro1 and 2.

Here’s a couple of quick snaps of my X-M1 with the XF 27mm mounted, to give you an idea of size ..

I think they fetch around 180-200€ these days. I often take mine out as it’s so discrete and easy to keep in a small bag or pocket ….

Try looking on E-Bay. Mine where €350 and €450.

Some of my favourite pictures still are from my X-T1/X-T10 days. I quite liked the ooc colour from that 16mp sensor.
