Sunrise

Here's a sunrise I captured one morning. The red colors were stunning. I don't know if I have seen anything like it.  I kept taking different ones.  It was hard to pick which one was my favorite.  I hope you like them too.

Dig,

I;m surprised you were able to take pictures with your jaw dropped open saying, "Oh my God!"

(I liked # 2 the best)

Thanks.  I'll keep looking for sunrises and sunsets.  They can be spectacular, but all different.

Digirame, great series. I like #1 and the last one.  I see a face in the last one….blue eyes and at the bottom a closed mouth.

Very nice sunrise Dig.

As I don't have a good horizon view from my house and I'm too lazy, I'm yet to take a proper sunrise photo.

Thanks. That's interesting to know your favorite of the bunch.  I had a hard time to know what was best, so I took a bunch of different ones at various focal lengths.

Re: Where two Canals meet.

I love seeing your English countryside with the aqueduct, viaduct and canals. Wow...a Daffodil...who would expect...so early. It's nice to see the Robin basking in the sun. We may get a little dusting of snow in the valleys this morning, so it's still cold where I live.

Stopped into a church…
1

All the leaves are brown
And the sky is gray.
I've been for a walk
On a winter's day.

Stopped into a church
I passed along the way.
Well, I got down on my knees
And I pretend to pray.

It's a spring thing
2

More bulbs.

(Very few daffodils so far).

Photos #1-3 are of the same crocus plant.

Not a great photo - the flowers are slightly over-exposed. This is just to show the plant itself.

I can't decide if the leaves in front (the blurry blobs) add to the image or not. Currently I'm leaning against them.

Re: Sunrise - Thanks

Hi Digirame,

For me it's the deep colours and overall balance of the picture.

Re: Where two Canals meet.

Hi Digirame, Thank You.

I too was surprised at seeing a Daffodil so soon. Today, Tuesday reached 14C mid afternoon yet early hours of the morning 3:00am it was -5C so those Daffodils must be hardy.
