Canon Eos R6 Mark II Screen problem

I received this camera a month ago and this problem has occurred twice so far, the second day after receiving the camera and yesterday when I was changing some settings. The first time this happened, the camera jumped from one menu to another on its own. I turned off the camera and removed the battery and everything worked fine after that. I also installed new firmware, but it happened again.
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this problem?

Sorry, but it looks like a hardware problem to me, maybe a broken or damaged connector to the LCD screen.  If you close the screen completely (turn it over), does the same thing happen through the viewfinder?  If not, you could continue using it on EVF only.

My suggestion is take it back to the store, or return it, or send it for repair.

Re: Canon Eos R6 Mark II Screen problem

Thank you!
It happened only on two occasions. I used the camera today at a soccer game and everything was fine.
It's difficult to provoke the problem to happen again because I only used the display to make settings and nothing else, so I don't know what to do to make the problem appear again for testing...

Your suggestion that I send the camera to the service center sounds like the best and safest thing to do.

Unfortunately it likely won't help either. They'll try it, can't repeat the problem and return it. The only help is that if it gets worse later, you can prove you have reported the problem long time ago.

Thank you for your reply !
Yes, such a possibility exists, unfortunately, but I still hope that they can and know how to do something that I am not aware of, and they will find out what the problem is. It's worth a try.
