Greetings

Yes, that's a very good price almost to good. I know nothing about that forum, if were on ebay I might buy it. What guarantee do you have you'll receive the equipment? Also remember there are no repairs for the 50mm f18 or the SDQ-H both are discontinued.  99% of the time the older 50mm f1.8 lens have burned out AF motors.

Good luck

Well, I've sold and bought a lot over there and never been sorry.  Do your own due diligence however.

Thanks for the info. Mike. Unfortunately I haven't saved up the money to buy that kit, or I would. I considered making some payment arrangement with the seller, but I don't know him, and have no idea if that is even a real person. Do you know? Are you familiar with him at all?

Too bad he isn't a member here. I joined as a member there, but I can't even send the guy a PM, because I'm too new on there.

I repeat do your own due diligence.  You have the link and a few minutes to an hour or so and you'll either have a good idea about the reliability of the seller or you'll have decided not to pursue.  Not here to give advice just a public service announcement.

docmaas,

That is great Value.

Roger said the sd Q H is not repairable, I believe it is. I would have no worries about buying that sd Q H etc at that price if I did not have one already.

Waiting now for the FF X3, hopefully soon.

Hi S

I had to send my H (one of 2) to Japan to be repaired for a bad LCD took about 10 weeks as there are no parts in the USA. That was about a year to year and a half ago. The H was discontinued a while back so getting it repaired is iffy, and the SA mount is a dead mount not even TTArtistian make lenses for the SA mount.

Waiting now for the FF X3, hopefully soon.

Me too

S

Enjoy

I found the M42 adapter awkward to use, but I now have a 50mm Art and the 105mm Macro, and these cover most subjects. A wide angle might be useful.

SDQ H was announced discontinued but the SDQ not yet. Parts shelf life for all the products are 7yrs after they are discontinued.
