… of Caspian Sea coasts.

In the south of the sea, Alborz mountain range, preserving the sea's humidity like a long wall has made tropical nature and climate in near 700 kilometers of fantastic resort.

I brought M6, the kit lens, 55-200 and 22/2. The prime was not used and only a handful of shots were taken with 55-200. Burnt about 700 shots and came back with 170 keepers. I post about 30 of them here in several posts.

I shot many of my firsts (mostly clichés) in this trip such as sunrise, long exposure, aboard, street…

Prior to this trip I hated wide angle and almost all of my shots were above 20-25mm and the the 55-200 lens was my beloved one. Typical of newbies! Now the 15-45 is glued to M6.

1. The first 3 photos were shot from balconies around our apt hotel's restaurant. This street actually is the road 22 (its intl. id no.). Hundreds kms of it are at seaside. My birthtown is by this very road, 800 kms farther due this direction, east.

2.

3. Shirood. Before 2009 classified as village and now a town.

4. Details of mud have beautiful effect on the whole image imo. This beach was nice and not crowded, because is located behind cable car facilities. Its route can be seen as a gap in the trees.

5.

6. The only use of 55-200 was this and a couple of sunrise shots. Many nice opportunities were lost. Because swapping lens on the go is not practical at all (for me).

7. For comparison, this was 15-45's top reach.

8. They were tourists not street players. Brought their beloved local instrument with them. They are from southern ports (Persian gulf). Their skin is a little darker.

9. In benefits and pros of wide angle lens, I've read many posts. All only mention more FoV for interiors, selfies or city/land scapes. I've never heard of the fantastic perspective that can be made only by these lens (in these forums). Have you?

10. Looks like the boy's screwed up something. I've found my new favorite subject. The guileless face of children.

11. During whole shootout I was drowned head down in the 'at waist level' monitor. It couldn't be seen in that tiny display that he was looking at me, not at the camera. What emotional look on that kind half lit face! Thanks bro for these photos and moments.

12. I think you say bagpipe to this instrument (ney-anbaan). While searching to find out how to introduce it to you I encountered this . I don't care about such things but thought maybe interesting for you.

13. Two sunrise shots from hotel balconey. I'd not seen sunrise before (living in an endless concrete jungle can be the excuse). Thank you all for showing me the sky. Soothing glorious sky.

14.

15. The cabin in the woods.

16. Here I've gone artistic

17. More artistic.

18. I was seriously in need of light down there!

19. Long exposure stream without NDs and tripod. (A rock helped me in keeping the M6 still. I don't have filibuster's hands.)

20. Interesting window of a shop.

21. An f/8 portrait of our little travelmate Ainaaz. Condsider that passerby woman as an environmental element!

22. Two sunrises with 55-200. Very bad shots, just to show how 200mm sees the sunrise.

23. This tiny wave was just about 20-30cm tall.

24. A village in the middle of the clouds.

25. The clouds in the middle of a village.

26. A 1/1600s Landscape shot! In a very shaky damned van.

27. Vegetation is dense everywhere here and construction tries to compete with it. Legal or illegal.

28. Some cliché shots.

29. Gold's always shiny!

30. Love the gold cast on the waters. This shot also has the honor of being my first BIF shot ever.

31. And at last the sunset.

I like the second set of pics!  More variety.  Nice shooting!
