Nikon to Sony e-mount adapter for A6000 for Tamron 90 macro

Hello,

I have a question. I want to make macro pictures with focus bracketing for a big depth of field. I installed the free focus bracket app on the A6000 and that works good. Now I want to use my Tamron 90mm macro (not usd but 272e model) for Nikon on the Sony A6000. After a long search I found three adapters with autofocus

commlite cm-nf-nex
Monster adapter la-fe1
fotodiox fusion smart mark II

only the monster adapter seems to work with the older a6000 but the manufacturer site says it has focus issues with a6000. In order to work with focus stacking, autofocus has to work good.

Has anyone a working combination with this Tamron lens and the Sony a6000?

Thanks, Coen

I have that lens for my A mount Sony camera.  It is very disappointing to use with the Sony adapters.

I have the Sony FE 90 mm macro lens.  It is far better to use.  If there is any way you can get one of those,  I think it is well worth the money.

Macrouser,

Thank you for your answer. Your solution is the best but it's beyond my range (money and weight). I was thinking of Sigma 70mm art macro or Sony 50mm macro (half the money and weight, maybe Sony 30mm macro, very light). But a new lens is the last option for my A6000. What will meike MK-S-AF3A do in combination with the 16-50 and 70-210 kitlenses or a 49mm close up filter? My primary macro use is the Nikon D600 with the Tamron. The Sony shots will be occasional and then flowers.

Thanks, Coen

I have the 50 mm from Sony.  It is an excellent lens.  The focus is slow and noisy so not very good for video.  It is very good for flowers and larger insects that let you get close.

The Sony 30mm macro looks and feels very light and cheep.  The optics are good.

I think with the focus bracket app on the a6000, AF performance per se isn't critical - what's important is that the app can increment the focus on the lens (without consideration of whether anything is in focus or not). That said, I don't have any information as to how well this works using third-party adapters and lenses.
