Another undocumented change in 1.7.0 for R5 (variable aperture lenses) ?
1

I'm really not sure if this is related to change in 1.7.0 but I've observed change in behavior of aperture in my RF 100-500 (except the fix for first blurry frame when shooting ES).

Till change I have problem with fixing aprerture wider aperture. For example - in Av or Fv when setting f/4.5 and then zooming in - the aperture changes up to f/7.1 (it's normal). But when kept zoomed and the metering timeout triggered - zooming out my R5 kept aperture at f/7.1 disregarding lens capabilities. It now changed. When zooming out the aperture goes back to selected one even after metering timeout was reached. It behaves as it should.

No sure if this was a catch with pre-1.7.0 firmware or simply my setup was somehow bad.

Br, Paweł.
