Weekly Theme Show# 5 January 4 - 10, 2023

Since noone else made a suggestion, I'll offer one:

This week's Theme is:

Something Nostalgic...

Your little League baseball mitt, your grandmother's wedding dress, a Sunday afternoon drive in the country with your folks, your high school prom, baking cookies with your mom, playing catch with your dad, your first-born...

What evokes feelings of nostalgia?

"Anything goes in this thread (as long as DPReview's general standards are not violated): any camera; any subject; any post-processing; etc. Recent images you have created in the past week or two are much preferred but not required. A little background on where, how and why you made the image(s) you posted would add interest. By posting here, you are inviting constructive criticism and general discussion of your images. Please share your expertise by providing constructive criticism on photos others have posted."

A person may enter the Theme Week as many times as they want, but please limit your photographs to no more than 4 (four) photos at a time.

Hoa Steve,

(Once again) sorry I didn't get around to entering last week's thread.

Nostalgia is a photo theme that I've always struggled with; I'll do my best.

This time of year and thoughts for me of last spring and the most iconic wildflower, the Bluebell. Out for only a few short weeks before vanishing till the following spring.

Spring 2023 is not that far away.

Climbing Mt. Shasta in northern California. This had to have been in the 1970's.

Oh, to be young again.
