A Church in snowny Town
8

Just got G7 X mark II a few days ago and at the same time there was a record snow storm so what better reason to see how good Sony 2016 1" sensor is at low light.

Shot at ISO 6400 (with shadow boosting) and f/2.8 and processed with DXO Photo Lab 6 using DeepPrime XD with luminosity turned low to get realistic mix between clean image and noise.

I am rather impressed with this little thing.

Very nicely done by you and the camera!

thank you, I have been the fence for most of the decade regarding the 1" cams and decided to take the plunge, now I almost regret not getting one years ago.

Handheld and close to being zoomed in.

I am still getting the hang on how slow shutter speed I can get away with.

Coming from EOS, I am pretty used to using 1/(focal in 35 mm terms) but at the same time I seem to be able to get away with 1/25 sec.

IS can work wonders. But I like to shoot bursts. At least 1 photo should turn out fine
