That's neat to see someone riding a bicycle in the snow.  No matter the colder snowy conditions, people have a way to adapt to it.

Tom,

Those are wonderful photos.

That 55-250 is a nice lens, isn't it?

Last 7D snaps

Hi all, I have a confession to make - I'm no longer a Canon ILC owner.

I really liked my 7D, but it simply wasn't fun to carry such a heavy setup around.

Anyways, here are my last up-to-date shots from the 7D.

A sparrow bathing in a puddle

An eucalyptus tree

A path

A puddle

Moss. This is what I call small depth-of-field

Regards, Dunlin

I like seeing your countryside and plants.  The two mirrorless cameras I use are tiny in comparison to my DSLR cameras.  But they cost me about the same as my Canon T7i (800D) cameras.  What camera system are you using now?

The camera hasn't arrived yet, but I'm getting a little Olympus mirrorless camera.

Oh, that's good.  I was using Olympus DSLR cameras over 10 years ago.  They were the Olympus E500 and E510 (8mp and 10mp respectively).

When I use those Canon mirrorless cameras, they are kind of like feathers in comparison.  In some respects I found them to be too small, but OK.  I'm used to it now.

Oh Look. The sun!

At least that's what I think it is.

It's been so long...

I know what you mean.  But I still got outside some with an umbrella.  I struggled with the giant umbrella when we had some wind.  But...hey...I did get a few pictures.

Also I found with rainy and cloudy weather we can capture some beautiful scenes.  I got a gorgeous sunrise once.  Then when the sun was about to set I got a few photos of clouds with what looked like rain that fell in a circular pattern.

Re: In The Rain

Cool...yes...good one...for you to get outdoors in the rain. Yesterday I also took a picture of a person with an umbrella. It was very light rain, but the umbrella showed that I was out there too.

Re: Wet Umbrella

That umbrella is indeed wet with drops.  In late May sometimes I can find roses with raindrops.  That's my favorite time to be in the rain.
