Is Microsoft still selling Phones?

I checked Microsoft Online Singapore Store. I could not find Microsoft Phones there. None. No Surface Duo for example.

Never buy version 1.0 of anything.

Yes. Perhaps you could buy from the US.

Personally I don't see the point, because I have a 5G cellphone that can be used as a Hotspot.

The duo is not listed under phone anymore.  It's listed under surface / dual screen / duo / duo 2.

Rumours of Surface Duo 3 are around. Suggests they'll go the Samsung route and have single foldable screen in book format like Samsung Fold 4.

I long ago stopped trusting them for phones though. They stiffed me with the Nokia 9xx series support. That said they are heavily invested in Android itself. Phone Link on Win 10/11 is very good indeed. It works on most android phones now so I stick with S22 Ultra.

Yeah. Microsoft stiffed me with their Nokia purchase. I went from Nokia's Symbian OS to Windows Phone 9xx (Windows Phone 8.1 OS) to iPhone.

The surface duo is using Android OS, many makers have a dual screen option.

You should instead go for something from Samsung, Oppo or Vivo as they have better smartphone presence at thee moment.

It's not foldable though. Being able to fold would make it my preferred size. For example, my old iPhone SE (2016)/5s were 4" phones. I now use the 4.7" iPhone SE 2 (2020).

I tried Fold 3 but sold it. Very heavy and poor battery. Opening into large screen was a plus but not enough of a plus. Also seperate pen was awful choice as was aspect ratio on outer screen. Settled on S22 Ultra. Never looked back.

Also the phonelink integration makes it in effect also a Microsoft phone allowing me to use it as a desktop integration as I work.
