Beach Trip
1

Last November when the weather was good I went on a beach trip. There were lots of surfers, but because I was there in the afternoon the lighting was not great for when I was using the Tamron 150-600mm lens. So I did the best that I could.

Photo No. 1 - OK, here we are traveling west over the Coast Ranges to the beach. We could start to see some blue sky.

Photo No. 2 - I walked through the dark forest towards the beach. I saw one of my first surfers. I think he was looking at some fungi that he picked off of that nearby log.

Photo No. 3 - Finally, I made it to this beautiful beach. It was only about a 1/4 mile walk or so. It was mostly cloudy, so the conditions were not ideal. At least it wasn't raining.

Photo No. 4 - As I walked to the north end I saw these people with their dog.

Photo No. 5 - Another dog...and we see some people in the water.

Photo No. 6 - Again....

Photo No. 7 - They would spend a long time in this ocean.

Photo No. 8 - Here's the waterfall on the north end.

Photo No. 9 - Near that waterfall a tree had come crashing down some time ago.

Photo No. 10 - I saw some more people as I began to walk back towards the south end.

Photo No. 11 - I turned around and saw more surfers.

Photo No. 12 - With the lighting as it was, I only could get a few pictures of them.

Photo No. 13 - Here's another one I liked, where they used boogie boards.

Photo No. 14 - And we see one more with the surfers in the background. It was a little hazy; that's why it was not crystal clear. Late autumn or winter pictures are not often the best if there's fog, mist or high humidity.

I can see why they are your favorites.  I had to look at them a couple of times...wow...they are spectacular.

What a nice thing to do, mocha. I may do something similar, but your pics are far superior.

All of those are simply amazing.

There was no way my snowblower could clear that so my friend came with the tractor. Of course, this is not free as it took him two hours to clear my main trail.

Wow...that's cool.  That is so neat to have a bulldozer to clear the snow.

How many feet of snow has fallen recently?  It sure looks like a lot.

Nice!  You must have had lots of cold temperatures followed by warmer weather.

It does look cold.  How many inches of snow has fallen in your area?

Dig,

We've had sub zero and single digit  temperatures, followed by temperatures in the 20's.

It's supposed to break the freezing mark tomorrow.

We only got 3-4 inches of snow this time, but I did get a flat tire and had to call roadside assistance.

That was fun.

Re: It needed a tractor…

We had about 20 inches in two days, over the 8 inches that we already had. A bit of it settled because a bit of the snow was wet. That leaves us with two feet on the ground.

We have some warmer weather ahead so some of it will melt. Weird weather pattern. Along with the major rain and wind storm this spring, everything is disrupted.

Swans, didn't realize how much I missed the eye AF from the R6 until I was going through these photos and had to cull quite a few.
