Wonderful, both.

Each one of mine is mounted on an M6 ll and they both settle nicely into a Lowepro ProTactic MG 160 AW ll.

It is a fun range, portrait or sorta wide, and both render excellent photos.

Very happy with the whole set up.

Just got my 16mm ! Outstanding lens !

Took it out of the box and mounted on the M6II then my wife sent me to the Dollar General store.

So I took the camera with me and when I got to the store I took a picture of the front of the store.

Big fellow came walking to me asking why I was taking his picture and he was very upset !

Wildlife photography in front of the Dollar General ?

Thought for a second maybe the 16mm might not survive !

The Dollar General parking lot cameras got the whole thing on video ?

happened to me once outside the white house with the secret service - though they were not upset - made me flip through the pictures - I think they were looking for license plate numbers of people going in and they thought I was from the washington post

congrats on your new lens, it will be terrific indoors with movement to get those environmental shots

The 16mm is still $319 on Amazon USA. Soooo tempting, but I am telling myself that I need to spend more time using the gear that I have than pursuing yet more of it.

It’s a truly excellent lens to round out your collection. Fast focusing, sharp wide open, very nice rendering. We’re so lucky here in M-Land, you almost never see an f/1.4 aperture on lenses wider than 24mm.

It’s outstanding for low-light events, group shots, family get-togethers, and environmental portraits. A special lens!

ps. It’s really hard to make a lens that is both wide and fast, so that’s why it’s the chunkiest of the EF-M’s. Still worth it tho for all the associated goodness IMHO.
