Helicon Remote control AF??
1

Hi- I am new to this forum so please forgive me this is previously answered somewhere, but I could not find it.

I am using a Nikon Z72 with a Nikon 105mm macro lens. I have tethered the camera to Helicon Remote.

Using Stack Shot I am fine as I have used Stack Shot for some time with this configuration.

What it appears is possible is to not use Stack Shot and have Helicon control the focus through the auto focus on the lens.

In other words, I would like to keep the camera static and have Helicon adjust the focus on the lens to achieve my focus stacking.

I have found pieces of information that look like this is possible, but I cannot figure out how to do it using my current setup.

Does anyone know if this can work and how to do it?

Thanks!
